Grilling off the stern of your boat is an unbeatable way to end a wonderful day on the water or enjoy a lunch in your favorite cove. Kuuma is known for its marine grills and the Kuuma grill rail mount option is perfect for using barbeque grill on your boat by mounting it on a cockpit rail. Rail grill mounting is most common on sailboats and the grill is typically attached to the stainless steel rail in the stern of the boat.
Rail mounting options are available for both the Profile and Stow & Go BBQ. Rail mounting your Stow n Go grill requires two #83635 rail mounts that can be used on 7/8”-1 ¼” round horizontal railings or 1 ¼” square railings.
Many boaters will leave their grills mounted even while underway and will use a grill cover to protect the grill from the sun, rain and salt. It is strongly advised to check that the grill is tightly attached to the mount before each use.
